Good news! Kitty surgery went well, better than expected actually, and he is on his way to healing. Should be coming home tomorrow. We are very happy about this.
I went to see Slumdog Millionaire with DownedCity last night. It was an excellent movie, and he is a sweet kid. Good times.
I was lucky enough to have lunch the other day with Dierdre at my favourite restaurant, a vegetarian joint called Sunflower. Great food, super excellent conversation. Whenever I have the pleasure of being able to spend time with her, I remember how much I enjoy her company. She is definitely good people.
I got a new digital camera! A REAL digital camera, not a crappy point and shoot. To lend some perspective, the digital camera I had was a 3.1 megapixel Kodak Easy Share.
Now I have a Nikon D60 D-SLR. Coscto had a $100 dollar manufacturers rebate on a set. Which means $100 cheaper than the Costco price. Which means real good.
