So I figured I would write a longer, more interesting, picture filled post!
If anyone has looked at my pictures lately, they will have noticed that I removed pretty much all of my sets. This isn't because I am suddenly like "oh noes! I cannot let anyone see me naked!" Most of the sets are 3-4 years old and I look absolutely nothing like that anymore. Not only have I just become more "adult" looking in the last 4 years, but I also weigh 15-27 lbs less than I did in any of those sets. I think the lowest I weighed in any set I took was 145, and that was probably wishful thinking on my part at the time. Now I weigh 130.
Mostly though it is because they were all quite low quality, both photography wise and either theme or posing wise. The one set I really liked theme wise had HORRIBLE photography, the pictures just came out absolutely wretched, I've only barely been able to save a few of them in photoshop, and that took hours. The one set I liked posing wise, and photography wise for the most part, had lighting and colour issues. I took that down and I've been playing around with it in photoshop.
So.. I made Shawn take a "sexy" picture of me now. Err. It's kind of awkward. Apparently since it has been so long since I've done a set, I have forgotten how to pose. I also don't really know how to pose with my new body. I'm used to posing to hide things.
I also did photoshop several of the pictures from my meditate set. I did it in a dark room, and my monitor isn't nearly as nice as this one... so now that I am looking at the "after" shots here, I think I may need to play with the colour correction a bit again. But you get the general Idea. What do you think?
I want to shoot a new set. I wish I knew a photographer. So far it has just been friends who've been like "yeah! I am a great photographer!" and then have completely ended up sucking. And going through the staff photographers is a huge pain, and takes forever. I wish I could find someone else.
The time and temperature light in my car just randomly started working. I am not sure when, I just noticed today. But I highly like it. It was kind of a pain not being able to see what time it was at night.
But oh how I love my new(used) car ever so much. Bum warmers and 6 cd changers make a girl happy.
Oh yeah. I got a new car.
I used to have a Hyundai Elantra. 99. Manual transmission. Well my boyfriend was driving it home from a friends sometime in september.. in cruise control.. when boom. Part of the engine just fell out. On to the road. No good.
Well my mother is so incredibly glad that I am in school that she got right on the ball and called my used car salesman uncle and arranged to get me a new(used) car.
And now I have a teal 1994 Volvo 850. She's so beautiful.
5 cylinder engine. Heated leather seats. Dual climate control. 6 disc cd changer (that actually came with the car in '94). 12 memory slots for both fm and am radio stations. Sunroof/Moonroof (that works!).
The drivers seat not only electronically moves back and forth, and reclines, but you can position the angle of your bum and lower back. And there are three memory slots for seat position for the drivers seat. And it remembers not only how close you are to the steering wheel/pedals, it also remembers where you recline and your bum and lower back angles.
There are adjustable head rests for all three seats in the back! There is also a fold down arm rest in the back.
There is a shift lock override, which my boyfriend claims is for just in case the button on the shifter gets stuck, but it is really because this car was built to be raced.
The CD player has a "shuffle" feature, where it will randomly shuffle to a disc, play four songs at random from that disc, then randomly shuffle to another disc... etc. etc.
It also has a 19.8 gallon gas tank. Which is kind of way weird.
I'm constantly discovering new cool stuff about this car. There is a lot more than just what I mentioned. The radio has so many features. There is a "pause" feature on the radio. I guess for if you get a phone call? or someone asks you a question? You can press "pause" and the radio will stop for ten minutes or so, then start back up again. (though not where it left off.)
Oh also, I would like to request hanging out with just you because.. I like Shawn okay, it's just it's a different dynamic with the two of us talking when he's around or when he's not around. And it makes me miss Max sometimes to be around a couple. I won't get to see him for like a week
