Today I am bored and tired and lonely.
I am even thinking of going to see a movie by myself.
Perhaps I should just gather my stuff together and go see what amount of writing I can get done.

My mother ran in to an old colleague and friend of hers. She asked if he was still working there and he said "no, I'm an author now." When my mom told her that I wanted to be a writer he pulled out his card and handed it to my mom saying "tell her to email me."

I went to his webpage. I don't think my mom realizes how serious he was when he said "I am a writer now."
He is the author of "The Rose Man of Sing Sing." Which was on the best sellers list for awhile and was voted one of the best non fiction books of 2005.

So now it looks like I have another contact in the writing world. Good.

Now let us hope I can get past the cold and actually hunker down and do some writing. Finishing my book eventually would be a very good thing.
