i had to go to the doctor today cause i've got brochitis. again. haven't had it since march, so it's pretty much right on schedule. i get it every 3 or 4 months. dr. says "stop smoking" i say "ok. i will" 3 months later "stop smoking"---"ok. i will" 4 months later "STOP SMOKING!!!!!"----"ok. i will." haha... i'm a moron. so anyway, driving home i'm flipping through my cds. "tired of this one, tired of this one, hmmmm... yep, tired of this one too." then i happen upon Metallica "Ride the Lightning." sweet! totally took me back...
when i was 12 or 13, i had the biggest crush on my best friend's older brother. big buff football player dude with long hair, home-made tattoos and listened to metal. he used to sit in his room and play his guitar and smoke cigarettes and ash in his skull ashtray. when he would leave on his dirtbike, we'd sneak into his room and listen to his cassette tapes. he was big on Dream Theatre for some reason, but also had alot of Metallica and G-n-R and Iron Maiden. awwwww yeah... Nick was his name. i should look that guy up and ask him to marry me. well, at least show him what he created. the hot lil purple-haired, metal chick i am today. he'd be so proud...
well, i'm off again for another week or so. driving across the country in a u-haul. if you see me with an old biker lookin dude sportin a beard and a jean vest with a POW patch on the back... that's me and my dad (and we rule) so say "hi".
