If freedom is the ability to do everything, [Besides lack of power] do wants, addictions and convictions merely act as leashes? And, if that deffinition of freedom stands true, is it what we really want?
The tortoise asks Achilles: "Are you free, Achilles?" and Achilles responds:
Of course im free! I'm Achilles, a god amung men, and free men at that. I can do anything I want!"
"So", queries the tortoise, "could you kill me?"
"Easily! I am Achilles, the invunerable" [Not so as it turned out, but anyway] "hero of Greek myth and legend, and you are.... a tortoise"
"So-Kill me," Chalenges the tortoise.
"But you are my steadfast friend, by bosom compainion, my comrade! I could never kill you!" protests Achilles.
"Exacatly," whispers the tortoise, sugestivly, and Achilles shudders.
