It is with a heavy heart that I had to depart from my dear hedgehog Melon. On Wednesday night, we had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep. He was 5 years and 4 months old. I console myself by knowing he had a long and great life. We were really blessed to have him as our first hedgehog as he was very easy to take care of and highly social and curious for a hedgie. He will leave a big void in our home. I’m still very happy that my set with him got SOTD. With a lot of memories, videos and pictures, I am glad I have some on here as well ~
