Hewo, SGland! Today I woke up and I noticed that we are now the second month of 2021, which is February, and I got excited because it means we are close to spring! And closer to summer! But also.... I noticed that this month will mark my 15 year anniversary of being in the modelling world. 15 years since I started modelling.... 15 years..... I’m old 😭
Modelling has been a part of me since now half of my life, and modelling for me has always been more than just being in front of the camera and doing poses, and (sometimes) looking pretty. It has been a huge help to my self-esteem and self-confidance. As a teenager I had very low self-esteem, and I didn’t like how I looked. I still wonder how I just woke up one morning and decided to just start taking photos... but I did, I was tired of not finding myself pretty, and telling myself nobody finds me pretty... I don’t know exactly why I chose modelling in specific to get over my problems, since I hated to have my picture taken. But I grew to like it, I guess ~ and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera now. I am so glad I went back into it after a long hiatus. And I am here now!
