I thought I would write something on here to let other members and the public know a little bit more about me.
I will go first with a cliché; I am a simple girl who just wants to have fun in life... who doesn’t want to have fun in life? I am currently a student studying history, and I have work and other personal projects on the side... I am pretty busy! I love video games, so gamers, you are welcomed to come talk to me, we can exchange tips or our favourite games!
Something more tragic about me now.... I’ve always been interesting in modeling, but as a teenager I had really low self-esteem and confidence. I did not even want to be in front of a camera, yet I really wanted to be like all those girls posing in front of the camera. I wanted to have my own pictures where I could be proud of how I looked. One thing that held me back? My scoliosis. I have a 46 degree curve in my back that make my hips really wonky and uneven. It isn’t dangerous, but it sure changes the way my body looks. I don’t have tight, straight hips like the other girls, and even to this day, I am really sad about it...
But one day, I told myself, “hey, I will try! Let’s take that camera and take some pictures!” I was my own model and my own photographer as a teen. I started to take pictures and the more I was doing it, the more I got confidence. People were not necessarily saying I looked good in the pictures, but they were saying that my pictures overall looked good. So as a self-model, self-photographer, that gave me a bit of confidence in my project.
This is when I got into SuicideGirls. I really liked their concept, but one thing held me back; I didn’t have any tattoos! Tattoos are something I got into really recently to be honest. I’ve always wanted to have some, but I didn’t have the money for it. In 2018, I got my first tattoo, then the second one in 2019, and then a third one, and then a fourth one... and getting the fifth one soon! And this is how I am now trying to become a SuicideGirl! To combine both my passion for modeling/photography and tattoos!
This is all I can tell you about me so far. I hope to meet a lot of interesting people here!
