So I grabbed a cactus today. Yep, a stupid freakin' CACTUS.
I was aimlessly feeling around the table, searching frantically for my wallet in the dark and instead of finding that, I found Nic's shitty cactus -- IN MY FINGERS.

Note to self: the desert is not my friend.

I had a ton of cactus (well, cacti) growing at my mom's house...I went through a phase, even grew a couple from seeds . I *told* you I was a weird , awkward kid in high school :p

I still have some of them but I never got around to bringing them here to join the other plants. Mabye I should, mom likes them about as much as you :p

I do have some cool looking ones though. ooo aaa

Did you use any soymilk? I'm gonna make a batch tomorrow though sadly I have no honey....I'll probably go get some, I like the result much more than with the maple syrup.

Ego down: gahhhhh, I ran into my Amnesty boy on the way to work today while he was standing around the metro looking for donors, AND, like an idiot I didnt say anything -- anything suave that is...just the simple chit chat, laughs, smiles, small talk, and then i had to run away to work -- and of course I don't expect him to say...

it's been an interesting day...
Work: made 175 bucks in donations and got way less "fuck offs" than expected.

Auriel totally brought me back some "Bio-Land" cereal and sesame bars from Costa Rica made with 100% organically grown ingredients --cool and delicious.

My B leaves Calgary tomorrow and I haven't talked to him yet...I called him this evening and he was supposed to get back...

Missed the metro home last night and it threw a bit of a wrench into my morning/afternoon...it's been a long day at both jobs -- so I just woke up from a several hour long "nap" and it's midnight on Saturday and I have no energy to go anywhere (except next door to watch The Wizard of Oz w/ Pink Floyd's DSotM but the DVD...

(A) Well, it's 6:48am and I'm about to head off to work..Hehe wish I could be like you today and (presumably) sleep in, especially since I've had some pretty irritating insomnia the last 3 nights.

(B) I know where to get good soymilk for 99cents/litre..But you have to venture outside of Verdun with me to get it ;-)

(C) We can make some...I probably spend about 30 or 40 cents a litre to do that...a bit more for the flavourings...my best results so far are with vanilla and honey,.

I should be free tuesday and wednesday if you have any time in there somewhere..gimme a shout.

P.s. beer on tap..maybe another week and it'll be ready I think!

It's been a good couple of days. I have a new job to celebrate, great neighbours!, good grades (so good in fact I got an email from the registrar's office congratulating me and telling me to keep up the good work!), a half-way-completed International Exchange application, awesome dollar store purchases, free vegan lunch (when you volunteer to chop fruit on campus!!!), a new friend named...

So I had my Intro. to Radio course this morning, and who do I find standing at the front of the class, laden with tattoos, a sleeveless Joan Jett and the Blackhearts shirt, black jeans, chains, leather cuffs, and combat boots?

Why it's my professor -- aka Paul Gott, frontman for the fucking RIPCORDZ!!!

Yep, my program fucking RULES.

Whoa, I guess I'm still on this thing...no warning email of account termination just yet, but I'm sure there's one on its way...
Back in Mtl, bus ride went way better than expected, and last night as I was wandering downtown dwarfed by towers of concrete and lighted glass, I actually felt "home." It was a nice feeling, and I'm excited to be back in...

Hey everyone,

I think this might be my last blog entry, as my account expires sometime in the New Year and my computer has totally shat out on me in Teebs -- I'll be using this account minimally until then. So with that said, good-bye everyone. I'll probably end up speaking to most of you soon, as there are still digits of mine and yours...
