Whoa, I guess I'm still on this thing...no warning email of account termination just yet, but I'm sure there's one on its way...
Back in Mtl, bus ride went way better than expected, and last night as I was wandering downtown dwarfed by towers of concrete and lighted glass, I actually felt "home." It was a nice feeling, and I'm excited to be back in school, back at the gym...turns out there's this dude in my French class who's a doorman for Cafe Chaos (a sweet little metal/punk venue). Essentially I'm hoping to now get into shows free when he's working. Oh yes.

And I was checking for shows this month and fucking TUGNUT (insane metal hailing from Fort Frances) is touring with other bands and they'll be playing in a couple of weeks. I remember seeing these guys years ago in Tbay when they were just starting out and everyone had a feeling they'd venture off east or west. Maybe it's both now -- either way I'm damn happy to be seeing them.

Also stumbled across a show where a band called THUNDER BAY is playing. Again, loving this city...
I must see this and investigate.
