So last night looked to be a quiet night of sleep at first,...at first...
I went home around 11 but it was gorgeous out and I couldn't have stayed in. Called up one of my girls and we ran downtown for cheap drink night then moved it further down the street to On Deck and ran into some good people I haven't seen in a while...then Jack's. By the time we got there they were closing up, but I managed to run into my new -- and most amazing -- boss there. Even though we just met about a month ago we get along great and it feels like it's been forever...he's completely irresistable, I love him to bits already!! This summer is looking like its holding a big staff road trip to the West Coast...Apparently it's become an annual thing: Brian has an RV and we're closing the shop to go to the Shambhala '06 music festival near Nelson, BC. I refuse to get my hopes up just yet, but if it all goes down I'll be seeing the West in August and Southeast come September...freakin crazy...Anyway, Jack's was closed but our "lady hotness--skillz" had the bartender let us in and we had an after-hours beer session there before heading elsewhere. Ended up going to bed when the sun came up (love that)...So much for an early night...
So far this summer's shaping up to be pretty good: quasi-single, looking for fun, -- so far I seem to be right at home!!
