It's been a long, cold day...luckily I was inside for the most of it. I had to work @ 9am this morning so I biked across town. Just as I was about 2 blocks away I nearly wiped out and killed myself...I was standing on the peddles and --BAM-- chain comes off, I fall forward but still manage to grab hold of the handlebars, break as much as I can and the toes of my shoes were literally skidding on the ground to come to a grinding hault . All the while I managed to keep perfect balance though...but a bunch of the rubber on the front of my shoes is scraped off, it's awesome. I only made HALF of an ass out of myself infront of everyone on the busiest street in town...Oh and then, as I was putting my chain back on my bike I took my gloves off and set them down on the grass....and forgot them, of course! So biking on my way back from work there they are, still where I left them, and I was so happy. And then I realized that it had rained all day... I squeezed them out as much as I could and put 'em on...it helped a litlte, until it got windy and froze my thumbs off...yay!
