Missed the metro home last night and it threw a bit of a wrench into my morning/afternoon...it's been a long day at both jobs -- so I just woke up from a several hour long "nap" and it's midnight on Saturday and I have no energy to go anywhere (except next door to watch The Wizard of Oz w/ Pink Floyd's DSotM but the DVD...

(A) Well, it's 6:48am and I'm about to head off to work..Hehe wish I could be like you today and (presumably) sleep in, especially since I've had some pretty irritating insomnia the last 3 nights.

(B) I know where to get good soymilk for 99cents/litre..But you have to venture outside of Verdun with me to get it ;-)

(C) We can make some...I probably spend about 30 or 40 cents a litre to do that...a bit more for the flavourings...my best results so far are with vanilla and honey,.

I should be free tuesday and wednesday if you have any time in there somewhere..gimme a shout.

P.s. beer on tap..maybe another week and it'll be ready I think!

It's been a good couple of days. I have a new job to celebrate, great neighbours!, good grades (so good in fact I got an email from the registrar's office congratulating me and telling me to keep up the good work!), a half-way-completed International Exchange application, awesome dollar store purchases, free vegan lunch (when you volunteer to chop fruit on campus!!!), a new friend named...

I bet teh guac was awesome. Foufs is pretty cool and very cheap for the drinking part. Where did the 15 bucks show up from?

The People's Potato is awesome indeed..I haven't been in a long while...

Which dollar store have you been hitting up? Some are definetely better than others.

So I had my Intro. to Radio course this morning, and who do I find standing at the front of the class, laden with tattoos, a sleeveless Joan Jett and the Blackhearts shirt, black jeans, chains, leather cuffs, and combat boots?

Why it's my professor -- aka Paul Gott, frontman for the fucking RIPCORDZ!!!

Yep, my program fucking RULES.

Oh there's beer around..and some cider too..Just say the word. Where's the job? And you were all worried about finding something. Silly girl :-) >I knew you'd come up with something. Who wouldn't want to hire you??

Wow, could be that I just remembered I signed up for my one year subscription in March or April...*idiot!*

Whoa, I guess I'm still on this thing...no warning email of account termination just yet, but I'm sure there's one on its way...
Back in Mtl, bus ride went way better than expected, and last night as I was wandering downtown dwarfed by towers of concrete and lighted glass, I actually felt "home." It was a nice feeling, and I'm excited to be back in...

Hey everyone,

I think this might be my last blog entry, as my account expires sometime in the New Year and my computer has totally shat out on me in Teebs -- I'll be using this account minimally until then. So with that said, good-bye everyone. I'll probably end up speaking to most of you soon, as there are still digits of mine and yours...

Anyways, give me a shout when you are back in town..and we can share stories and some more homebrew (new batches ..ooh)

Right, so I haven't witnessed this much gluttony in a while...And all I want is someone to smack the image out of my brain!!!!!!
Sitting on the metro, people watching as usual...the best thing is watching people watch other people. So this lady gets on the metro with grocery bags in one hand and a big wedge of Brie cheese in the other. For those...

The part with the Brie is pretty nasty. I like that stuff, yes, but in small amounts, with crackers and preferably wine biggrin

Kind of random to spot that girl from TB also. It's weird how that happens. Especially in the metro, the chances are really quite small.

Oh, and I know someone who wishes she'd come back to get her umbrella by now :-)

It's supposed to rain tomorrow , or so I hear. But I'm leaving town for a few days tomorrow AM. So I guess I won't see you again till you get back from your holiday?

Have a great one !

dear lord...maybe on my next metro trip i'll wolf down a couple sticks of butter...occasionally pausing to sprinkle a little salt on my delicious treat puke

Feeling a little bitter. Today I just don't care, so enjoy!

So the layout on this site has been developing more in the past few days. It's kept me sort of busy, thinking about myself, posting things about myself, trying to come up with cool and witty things to say about...oh that's right, you guessed it, myself! Don't you just love how things are designed...

Hmmm...frown
I just found out that someone I knew passed away...Didn't know him as well as I could have, but I volunteered with him a few times in my hometown. I was really fond of him and all of the work he did with Rotary and the community. He had a big heart and shared it with many people in a very high-spirited nature. After...

Awwwww....That's alwayts an upsetting thing to deal with, for me anyways. Particularly when it's someone of the same age group...I guess since it brings to light the fact that we are all very mortal, and it could happen to any of us. And I never seemed to fit in with anything...at least not until I was about 19 or 20...Definetely not in high school.

On a lighter note, that show tonight was pretty fun, thanks for the company and glad you enjoyed the beer....We can sample the other batch next time...and when you come back from your holiday, there will probably be a third one waiting...or the cider at the very least will be ready to go.

Bit of a dilemma here...In Flames is playing next week and tickets are not sold out yet. I suspect this is party due to the fact that BOTH of their guitarists will be sitting out for the December tour, so they have others filling in - credible sources. So I'm feeling conflicted. I mean, I missed them last time, but this is like, quasi-In Flames...Then...
