So I went away for the weekend with my boy on his boat,
first off it was throwing to down fri, so we left late and it took a while to get going but the sun came out and we had the dog and cat in tow...........
we travelled for a few hours and got as far as burton, lol....4mph just is slow.....
and moored by a lovely park and went into town for all you can eat chinese.....yum yum yum.........
then we ended up at a bar I have not been to before, a rock bar, with a live band, yes a covers band but they were real good...AND I bumped into a guy I was friends with 12 years ago...who's band have just been signed by a record label, we had an awesome night and stayed up in the boat....watching family guy...and so we woke up lazy and late sat........
then we travelled some more in the sun...
and ended up mooring at barton turns marina and having a gorgeous meal then getting drunk and having a champagne cocktail talking to an old boater and it was awesome fun.....but we manages to get up early and bright and had an ace jaunt home today, stopping for some boat shananigans and also sunday lunch.......
yey for boat trips........
but god damn I am knackered...........Oh and we got icecream from an icecream boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
