Hey everybody!
What's going on in all of the lives of the coolest people I know? I was thinking earlier at work how cool all of you that I talk to and read about on here are. There are a few of you that know more about what is currently going on in my life than my best friend. Thanks for all the love and...

If it makes you feel any better at all ... I'll smoke a birthday joint in your honor.

And ... uhh ... you're from Lennon's hometown if I remember correctly ... were you a member of her forum at all?

Oh what a weekend! I went to the mall Saturday with a girl friend of mine, then returned to her place with the intention to unwind with a few beers before going home. I had a driver at work who wanted to be the first person to buy me a drink for my birthday, and lucky for me, he was smart enough to realize that...

Today was a strange day. I got to work and my boss looks at me and says "I need to see you in my office. You have three minutes." Immediately, my hyper-anxiety-induced worries begin. I rush in there only for him to hand me my offer letter and my benefits package. So all that freaking out just to find out I'm FINALLY a full-time, benefitted...

That first paragraph COMPLETELY reminded me of myself. I ALWAYS jump to the worst possible conclusion. Congrats on going legit at your job though. Good for you!
Now the period thing . . . until last year I used to have relatively regular periods. Now they come once every 8 weeks, once every 3 weeks . . . whenever they please! I completely understand the stress thing. It's such a downward spiral!!!
Every time I used to quit smoking it would be "for the most part." I totally feel you on those special blend Camels. Mmmm mmmm!!!
ironbhr:
nothing like beni's!
stress fucks with us guys and our cycles to...not that we bleed, but we're moody bitches most of the time too...not that we admitt it
nothing like drinking and smoking thank god that you can still do it down there..up here the conservatives nixed all the fun shit...hell they want to put a six foot distance between us and our strippers...as my friends and i say "let's go do it befroe the christian coalition comes and shits on all our fun" skull

Well ladies and gentlemen...I am making my triumphant return...relaxed and stress free for the moment. smile My weekend was nice...much of what I expected- shopping, drinking, and speaking Spanish. I think I have a permanent hispanic accent now. My uncle's family is from Nicaragua, and only a few of them speak English, so I got to work on my 5 years of Spanish. smile My grandmother outfitted...

Woo hoo!!!! Packed and ready to go! I have to be at the airport at 6 am. My flight leaves at 7:30. By noon, I'll be drinking a Yuengling by the pool, or hell, in the pool. smile I hope you all realize how desperately I needed this vacation! The insanity of what I have been putting up with over the last few weeks has finally...

Openess...I've always been a very open person. I think, like ironbhr said in his comment to my journal entry yesterday, that being open is the best way to be confident. Without hiding things, you are the truest to yourself. I'm not saying I'm open about everything to everybody...we all have fears and secrets that we keep buried...but for the most part, I'm an open book...

When you think of independence or strength, what comes to mind? Standing up for yourself? Supporting yourself mentally, physically and emotionally? What defines someone as "strong" or "independent"?
I'd like to think of myself as strong. I'd like to think of myself as independent. As I try to put the pieces of my life back in place, I have begun to realize just how much...

Im jealous, I wish someone would offer me some deal like that. Maybe we look alike and I can pass for you ... just show up and your grandmas house and be all like "omg grandama , I had plastic surgery" or some crap.
Thanks for the sweet words, Im over the bday thing. Im not even sure if thats what really upset me or not.

The truth is ... you are strong and you are weak. You are dependant and independant. It all has to do with the time of day, whether or not you eat linguini, and what exactly it is thats going on in your life at the time. Im strong when it comes to barfights, but weak when it comes to saying no to illegal things. Its a tossup. Fair trade. I think?
ironbhr:
yeungling lager rocks!!! i bought a case of bottles to g=come home with me when i was driving through pa on my way home from texas.
there is something very strong about leaving yourself open. if you give of yourself freely, no one can take it away from you. ever. skull

Does it frustrate the hell out of anyone else to be able to give advice that perfectly fits what you should do in your own personal situation, yet you can't bring yourself to follow your own advice? I hate, beyond anything else on this planet, the feeling of being weak or vulnerable. I do not know what The Ex does to me...maybe it really is...

men...what are you girls going to do with us? if it's sex he's after i'd be wary....a long term thing like taking care of someone else's kid is way too much drama. you're to young to put yourself through it.
if you need loving find someone outside of work...it works for me... skull
samanthakayne:
shit, girl, you write these journal entries that make me wanna write a fucking novel in response.

first - what the fuck are you doing in tennessee? you need to be somewhere where you'll be appreciated...

okay, with a little more focus here. to be completely honest, there's nothing wrong with your worker boy havin this other commitment. in some ways, it shows that he's a caring, reasonably committed to doing the right thing kind of a guy. that said - he's also prob right in the middle of a lot more chaos than you realistically want right now, i'd imagine. mind you, it might be worth it for the lay, but it seems like it's takin up an awful lot of your time and energy that you could be devoting to you...

now... in regards to the other boy. damn, that one's much harder, even from the outside, you realize? sometimes you end up bound to someone, and maybe it's good for them, who knows, but it's definitely not good for you. does that motivate you to get out? only something less than about half the time somehow. i really wish i had something better to offer, but... you're a smart and beautiful girl, and when the times comes to make a choice, i know you'll make the one that's right for you.

until then, enjoy your friends and your life and figure out what it is that you want... otherwise you won't know it when you see it. kiss

Mr. Man today told me he was going to leave his woman for me. I told him to put his money where his mouth was- that actions spoke louder than words. Do I think he'll actually do it? No. Does it bother me? No.
Actually, the most drama that happened today occured when my wonderful ex decided to oversleep, miss his ride, and not call...

i agree with my girl fiesty seems to fit you....and yes money issues are a good way to ruin your day. i've been dealing with some towards the end of the week, blowing all my good mood...that better change quick i've got someone to keep happy next weekend. but i digress....court is a good way to throw things around...makes people think about just how far you mean to go. generally it's all the way.
i love the way the former boy is trying to pin stuff on you...stay strong and when i'm elected tyrant i'll put in a good word for ya.... skull
