17 hours of work is just punishment. i've worked the graveyard shift. I've stood watches at night in the military. it's a physical and mental strain to keep the body going during these times. I was never quite able to get my grip on sanity during those horrendous days. Watching the sun pop up in the morning as i got in my car. It sucks.
