i miss my boyfriend. i'm tired of being patient. i need sleep, i can't seem to get any. i can't find any peace, i'm anxious and an ever nagging emptiness grips me. i'm so close to profound completion, yet i'm not where i need to be. it's torture knowing the place i long for is just there, out of reach, for a bit longer, waiting for me. i want his arms around me. i want to never have to toss and turn, reaching out for him, and finding nothing but an empty bed. i want to wake to see his face swathed in golden sunlight, and know, that if we want, we can spend all day in bed, or laying in the grass beneath a shade tree.
