Well the bbq was interesting last night.
We bought burgers bacon cheese (to make beef burgers with bacon and cheese of course! It's the way forward!) We got loadsa sausages some pork ribs and probably loads more food but I can't rightfully remember!
I got the bbq lit (after the traditional problems obviously) and in 2 hours all we had was 2 burgers with bacon and cheese! Call me silly but that's shit! I fully blame the size of the new bbq, iy's shit! We bought one last year that is like an old fashioned farmhouse stove. That would have cooked the entire collection of food we had! We just need to get a new grill thing to place the food on - or wash it - cause SOMEONE left it out in the back garden since last summer!
Anyway, I couldn't even be arsed to eat my second burger so I did my charitable deed for the day and gave it to my dad.
Tonight's the night of the new run of comedy nights run by 2 good mates of mine...
So if any of you reading this are in the Newcastle area of England, come along. Make sure you introduce yourself to me as well, I'll be running the show from behind my sound system! Which reminds me, I really need to sort some tunes out for tonight!
I'll be getting up sometimes to do my act(s) just not tonight. I can't wait actually, whole new venue, whole new crowd. I'm gonna give it a few weeks before I get up and do my musical comedy act (Les Paul Marshall) as I really need to see what kinda crowd are coming through the door (I've been told Les Paul is one of the most offensive acts most people have seen... I guess songs about peadophila, periods, disabled people, being sick, and having the shits ain't everyone's cup of tea. Let's put it like this, you WOULDN'T take your grandparents to see me doing this act in a million years, at least not if you had seen it before!
I'm looking forward to doing Les Paul at the new venue as I'm thinking of getting the backing band back together, it doesn't feel the same when it's just me and my banjo onstage! Oooooh just realised, noone on here has seen Les Paul Marshall before have they?
