Let's be honest.
I ain't exactly done amazing in keeping my resolution so far.
I cut back to 1 in the morning and one last thing at night but then the fatefull day of Jan 5th came round... One of the 3 most depressing days of the year for me and I smoked pretty much a full pouch of drum tobacco.
Been good since then though, I ain't had one AT ALL. Good cause I won't be smelling of smoke 24/7 bad because I feel so ill I don't wonna go into work today. Plus the grinding wheel is buggered at work so I had to swap the grinding wheel onto the grinder we had the smoothing wheel on, thus meaning all smoothing must be done completely by hand as opposed to 50%hand 50%machine... Not that y'all needed or wanted to know that lol
I had my trial flying lesson on Saturday.
Was loadsa fun.
Much better than sitting in front of your pc monitor playing microsoft flight sim.
The instructor took off and landed (from newcastle airport) but everything in between, I did.
We circled over Warkworth Amble and Morpeth loads while I practised banking ascending and descending.
Got to see my girlfriends house - her mother was upstairs when she heard a plane circling above the house and rushed outside to take a photo of me but I was gone

I think I'm gonna use the money I save from not smoking to pay for lessons and all the books and other shit I need to buy for the groundschool part of the course. Only trouble is... Before I get my Private Pilot's Liscense, I'll have shelled out nearly 7,000, cause yea, I can afford that! NOT! I'm on the shittest wage in the world, but don't mind as I love my job lol, never mind the fact I'm only working part time at the minute. Oh, and me & Laura are planning on getting a laptop together so there's a further 300 I need to find so we can split the cost.

My roommate and I are tring to quit smoking too, it's so hard, but after a day or two, it feels good to have clear lungs and great smelling clothes. Good luck with it all sweetheart!
