Finished reading The Edible Woman. It didn't blow me away, but I will be back to Ms Atwood for more soon. This was my first full-fledged foray into her fiction.
Will probably begin something by Kapuscinski before bed. We've got a couple things on the shelf I've been meaning to read for some time. Shacking up, by the way, has proven a literary windfall. Just as I was approaching 80% in the read to unread ratio among my own books, in came a bookcase full of virgin material.
Learned "Money Changes Everything." I'm drawn to 80s pop songs with prominent guitar in the arrangement. I'll probably learn "When You Were Mine" and "Time After Time" tomorrow. Desperately craving pedals for chorus and delay to get that authentic wishy-washy 80s sound. Very happy that Ginny finally found her copy of She's So Unusual after declaring it MIA a year ago.
Settling down to work on the play now. Time is running short on this and we've decided to work as satellite partners when we can't be in tandem. Just get something on the page and we'll stitch it together in rewrites and rehearsals.
