Busy couple of days. Been on call this weekend so it could still get more hectic. Yesterday I got called up to Placerville at 7:40am. On my way back home I got a call to go to Chico, so I went to the office and took care of it. I was about 15 min from the office when I got a call from Fairfield. Went to the office, put the equipment together and went out there. Once I got out there they decided they wanted more stuff so I had to go back to the office and go back out to Fairfield. We didnt have some of the stuff they wanted in office so I had to get it shipped from another district, which meant more work early morning. I got home at 8:30pm. Just in time to get out to Trauma.

Woke up early this morning to go back to Fairfield and was setting up a rotation mattress for a fat lady (400+) when she went code blue. So I got to stand around outside in the hall for 2 hours waiting for her to either die or live so I could finish my job. Finally they THINK shell be okay and I get the hell out of there.
Got some food on the way home and now I just want to sleep...
