This music thread greatly amuses me.
In my opinion, if you're going to let something like this cause you such extreme distress, driving you to paroxysms of hyperbolic woe, you basically deserve the pain. It's only music.
I find it reassuring when music fascists (or art fascists, or film, books, etc.) tell me I'm a heathen for enjoying something I'm not supposed to, or not enjoying something I'm supposed to.
There's nobody I need to impress. My taste might not be hip, but at least it's sincere.
I enthusiastically invite anyone who has a problem with that to have sexual relations with yourself, in whatever manner you find most appropriate.

you can never win. just listen to whatever you want, as long as nobody else is around to give you shit about it.
and don't be around anyone else while they are listening to music, because you will end up hating them.
i stopped going to the music threads a couple weeks after i joined. It's a terrible, terrible place. I just wasted 45 minutes reading most of that god awful thread, mainly to find your comments.
Horrible, horrible place, as is most of the boards.
Except for Dirty Talk. You can't really go wrong there. ^^
