I'm sick and tired of people doing shit in relationships that doesn't even come close to sane. A very close friend of mine was supposed to move in with her fiancee next week. They were to be married in November. Note the past tense.
He left her a message on her voicemail that said "Hi, I'm coming over to get some furniture to move in. I'll see you in a little bit. I love you, Bye."
He came over, got the stuff, and went home. When he got there, he called her and said "I don't think we should get married." She was obviously disturbed by this news, and she went over his house to find out what the hell he was talking about. A fight ensued, over what she's still not sure, but he was yelling. Then, and this is unbelievable, he calls the police, has her dragged away in handcuffs and has her committed!
He tells the cops that she has a history of emotional problems (true) and that she has a history of being suicidal (also true). He also tells them that she's currently suicidal, (not true) and that she's a psychologist (true) so she'd probably lie and know all the right things to say to not appear suicidal. The cops, having no choice, drag her to the hospital, and keep her there for FIVE DAYS (State Law in Delaware says that if the state commits you, you have to stay for five days.) During which, she misses assignments for her PhD classes, misses 2 doctor's appointments for her son, and she only got out 1 day before his 2nd birthday! So needless to say, she's through with him.
Now, here comes the funny part. before they broke up, in preparation for her moving in, HE LET HER PAINT HIS WHOLE HOUSE PINK!!!!!!!! BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
So there's that. Wanker's got a pink house.
On a totally unrelated note, anyone want to play poker tonight?
