So
I was in Regina last Tuesday (was it? Or Wednesday)
We didnt do much more than hang out at Phoenix Comics for a few hours though. Then I watched over my friends 2 year old kid while she wandered all over the Staples store while my friend and his wife talked to the guy about buying a new computer. I can now honestly say that I really dont want any kids of my own for quite a while, thank you very much.
I saw Spider-Man 2 at our little small town theatre this last weekend.
Kinda sucked, just like the first one.
Actually the movie wasnt so bad as a whole, just the directing sucked.
I dont like Sam Raimis Spider-Man very much at all. I liked the Evil Dead movies he did, but Im thinking that that has more to do with Bruce Campbell than anything else.
Sam Raimi, yes, lets take the guy who made such cheesy schlock as Xena Warrior Princess and Hercules and give him the task of showing Spider-Man to the rest of the world. Bad, bad idea. (Yes, I get to bitch cause Im a fan. But wait Im not done just yet.)
See, Chris Columbus did an excellent job of making the X-Men seem believable. And yet Sam has to do his thing and F*** with the franchise. Put his spin on things. Do what Schumacher did to Batman.
But Im ranting and you dont really care do you nah, didnt think so.
Anyways its still soaking wet outside, and although theyre predicting September to be nice, Ive given up any hope of having an enjoyable warm summer. So, Im trying to think of what I can do to make winter more fun and enjoyable, other than buying a Texas mickey and boozing it up for five months (come to think of it I might do that anyway).
Suggestions, anyone? Anyone? Thats weird, coulda swore I heard some rustling in the back there
Im thinking of buying a digital camcorder and making a stop motion short film with some poseable teddy bears. I had this idea for some time. Theres this one scene that involves a stuffed toy elephant and some firecrackers
Yah, anyway heres something I found Id like to share

no robs not a prodigy, he's just really determined and talented. he wanted to be in a band in junior high so he just taught himself to play. he's worked really hard at it though.
i'm just lazy.
i'm looking forward to your short film with the teddybears... and the suprise elephant-and-firecracker ending.
