So maybe sitting here watching High Fidelity for the eighteen thousandth time (this time on DVD because the cassette broke) isn't a great idea. Whenever I'm feeling a little mopey I'll either watch the movie or read the book and I don't really know why. Well, yeah, I do know why, I want to work in a record store, I want Iben Hjejle (or more appropriately, her character) and I want to drop an air-conditioner on some new-age hipster's head. I know Rob's the text-book definition of self-involved cad, but still... fuck, he gets the girl at the end, doesn't he?
And the record store scenes still make me laugh every time.
