Today I learned that my father has Parkinsons disease. He has developed a shaky arm, severe slouch, very quiet and difficulty speaking and a "far-away" look in his eyes.
I love my dad, he raised 11 kids and has been married to my mom for over 50 years. Hard working man, honest, kind and just an overall good person.
I can only hope to be half the man he is and was.
