So yeah, I didn't mean for that last journal entry to come off as misogynistic as it did. If you can't tell, I'm moving from my old school punk kick into a hip-hop thing which probably isn't helping with the attempts to not be so chauvanistic.
Anyway as soon as I get a little spare cash together I'm buying an SG membership for my friend Chrissy. She lives in Florida and she provided a couple of those great quotes from the last entry.
She always makes me feel like less of a dork after talking to her (i don't mean that the way it sounds) and she is always overly excited to see me. Even when I 've only been gone a couple of hours. (We haven't seen each other face to face in about a year and a half now, but we talk on a regular basis). Anyway, she'll get a proper introduction once she's an official member.
Not much to talk about right now I guess, just figured it was time for an update. May be moving again, by like the end of February. Maybe I'll give details on that situation next time around.
3 days till the b-day. Kind of wavering between excitement and non-chalant giving a fuck less. Probably because any real celebration of my turning another year older won't happen until well after the fact. You know schedule and all.
My new goal in life is that any day I'm not at work, to be the fuck out of Dodge. If I gotta stay in this god forsaken hell hole of a city for now, I hope to get a little relief every chance possible. I'm going to Dayton in a few hours to see a couple of bands and hang out with PunkNiteMike. Probably doing the same next weekend too. Then the weekend after that I told my friend Stephanie I'd go up to MI to hang out now that she's feeling better from the flu/pnemonia she had. (yeah she got both).
Maybe I'll get lucky and get to meet the lovely miss Strawbettie during the trip. (but you know me and my wishful thinking.
I promise to have pics up by the end of the week, even if they're sucky and uncropped. (a little help please)
