I'm going to see Raduiohead in San Diego on the 27th thanks to neiljphx. I can't fucking wait. I'm also probably gonna buy Sonic Youth / Pearl Jam tickets at The Forum. I've been listening to the new SY and Thom Yourke albums nonstop over the past week. I can't wait for the official releases.
So I've had a wild week. Last friday was karaoke in Burbank, which was good times. I guess I insulted a famous person with EricAllen and apparently everybody in the bar recognizes "the docta" now. (The owner and bouncers told me to get out of town when I tried to give them a tip from our table... coming out that night was "tip enough" he says).
Saturday I went out to party for buttonbutton's birthday. We hung out at her place for a while afterwards and good drunken times were had.
Sunday was wasted.. but that's o.k.
Tuesday I went to see Damon Wayan's at a comedy club with my friends Charles. Apparently we're becoming regulars at this particular establishment.
Wednesday we partied forMax's birthday at Bar 107. We closed the bar down and then I hung out with sugarfish for a while catching up since I hadn't seen him in like forever. I ended up getting home feeling pretty buzzed around 4:30 in the morning.
Thursday night I hung out with my buddy Lance and his wife with a few other people for a show at the "Hotel Cafe'" in Hollywood. Good drunken fun was had there again. I hadn't seen them in quite a while either so it was fun to hang out.
Today I'll try to get a few errands done and tommorow I get to see a girl that I'm pretty excited about actually. She seems to be into me and that's rare. But of course I have a penchant for misreading things alot too. I really like her, but we'll see.
I usually don't hang out that much on a regular basis, but I actually had fun this week. Maybe I'll try to relax a bit between now and the shows.
Looks like I won't be buying my friend Adam's car after all. That's cool though... I only plan to buy from a friend or a recomendation from here on out. I've gotten burned enough times in the past year. If push comes to shove in the fall I'll just buy a new car instead of used. At that point I'll be able to afford it guilt free. It's just a matter of deciding what I want I guess.
Anyway... I'll try to catch up with some of you individually here and there. See you around.
