So, now on to more, ominous... things...
- I am UBER pissed cause my SG Shirt wound up disappearing. I was gonna take some pics and show my SG love alllll the way form Africa, but alas, my shirt has up and grown legs and wandered off. Grrrrrrrrrr.....
- Politics and religion... Taboo, I know, but here goes... I was raised a Christian, confirmed Methodist, but have since "strayed" from the Church. My favorite class I have ever taken was a AP World Religion course in HS. It opened my eyes to a world of different views and opinions. I have a huge problem with the hypocrisy of organized religion. I have my own relationship with God, and I do believe in a Higher Power, but not the Christian / Jewish / Muslim version of God. I must have "SAVE ME" tattooed on my forehead cause every time, WITHOUT FAIL, when I am on a layover in some international airport, some schmuck sits next to me and opens with "Praise Jesus it's a beautiful blessed day!" Are you kidding me? I just want to sit and listen to my iPod and read my Kindle and wait for my next flight. I try and be polite and tell them I'm not interested in a discussion at 0530, after I have been traveling for 15 hours already, about why or why not I have accepted JC as my lord and savior. I have contemplated answering them with my tongue hanging out, devil horns thrown high and asking THEM why THEY haven't accepted Satan as our lord and savior???? Not that I think that, but MAYBE it will get them to leave me in peace... Bastards...
Enough negativity for one night... Just had to get that off my chest! Two weeks down, four more to go here in RAINY Africa... Did I mention it has been raining here nonstop for two weeks? LOVE IT!!!! Keeps the heat and the bugs down.
Once again, go give Lego_ some love on her hopeful set here AFOL She NEEDS to be pink like... yesterday????
