Ahhhh, four days of not working out... WTF?!?!? I try and make excuses, try and blame it on work.. BUT... It can honestly all be chalked up to laziness. Gonna hit it hard tonight... Word... Did I just really say "Word"?
I have been perusing a lot of blogs, groups and comments... Seems to me that I am nowhere near as "deep" as a lot of other people on this site; I'm a pretty simple dude. Good food, good book, good whiskey, good beer, mountains, and snow and I'm a Happy Panda.... Whatcha see is whatcha get, and I'm gonna speak my mind and fuck your feelings. If you're dumb, you need to know. Let me clarify... By dumb, I mean people who make a conscious choice to do stupid things. You can't help it if you were born slow, and that doesn't need to be brought to your attention. In fact, I will usually go out of my way to help them 'cause 99% of the "stupid" people out there are the nicest most caring individuals on the face of this Earth and will give you the shirt off their back without even thinking twice.
So, HUGE Life Plans. The goals are set for the next year, and I am friggin ecstatic!!! So here goes. Gonna stay working for my current company for the time being. I like working for them, but the longer I do, I see a LOT of things that throw up red flags... MAJOR red flags. So in March I will be applying to Raytheon to work in Antarctica as a Medic. YES! I JUST SAID ANTARCTICA!!!! It is the only continent I haven't been too and ever since I was an impressionable young lad I have been enchanted by the simple beauty of an Antarctic Ice Lagoon.
And penguins are really really fucking cool too. After Sea Lions of course....
So, apply to Raytheon in March to work in Antarctica for a year. If I don't get that gig for some reason, I stay with my current company till August. Then It's off to Jacksonville, FL for Commercial Diver / Dive Med Tech and Hyberbaric Chamber Operator School.
I originally joined the Navy to be a Diver, but through no fault of my own, that never came to be. Now I have a chance to pursue that dream of mine and do what I LOVE every single day I work... And here's the kicker... Raytheon is 1 year on, one year off so even if I get the gig with them, I can STILL go to Dive School!!!!! HAPPY PANDA!!!!!
