My version...Uber -Guacamole:



    2-3 Avacado's...Dark and ripe

    a tablespoon of frash garlic, crushed and minced (take about 3 bulbs and press them with the side of a knife to get the oil out before you mince the crap out of em)

    One half of a onion, diced. (I prefer vidalia, red are ok also. yellow are so/so)

    either the juice of one nice sized lime, or about 6 Key limes. (key limes are best, but are seasonal)

    about half a can of diced tomatoes. (i like the tase better to fresh for some reason)

    A small handfull of diced, fresh cilantro. (fresh is better)

    2 tablespoons of Cumin (the spice. It gives your dip a chilli taste, and is key! its about a tight handful)

    a few tablespoons of diced jalapenos...pited and seeded if possible (i tend to use less of these then i do tomatoes. Rotel is a good brand for those.)

    A dash of salt and pepper to taste. Avacado's eat up the salt. (i like the fresh ground black pepper and a good amount of salt)



I always measure out any spices or dry ingrediants in my hand before i add them, also, to prevent adding to much.

Now, the best ingridents make the best stuff. I use all organic spices and fresh goods when possible. When I measure out exact amounts, I'll post them. Also, after you halve the avacado, make 5-6 vertical slices, then a few more horizontal slices takeing note not to cut the skin. (with a butter knife ) THEN scoop it all out with a spoon. While mixing in the ingrediants and tasting every so often, dont go to any effort to mush the avacado if you want a chunky texture. I never use sour cream, water, or mayo. It make make less, but it is so much better!

This should make a decent bowlful, finishable by 2 hungry people.
I think tostitos makes a organic corn chip, not sure.

My heritage is New Zealand Maori (what the Aboriginies are to Australia) and Yugoslavian. My mother is a full-blooded Maori, which is kinda rare these days due to the English and stuff. So I'm half. I get mistaken for Spanish all the time.

We speak English there, but the native language is Maori. The words on my tattoo, Aotearoa Wahine, translate to "Daughter of New Zealand" in Maori. The language is similar to Hawaiian.

Something about my homeland... it's absolutely beautiful, four seasons in one day type of place. Mountains, snow, beaming sun, beaches, desert, cold, bush. I miss home a lot, living in the Big Apple is a completely new experience. I lived in the North Island, in a place called West Auckland. Born and raised there, where all the best surf beaches are, and all the tramping and camping ranges in a place called the Waitakere's. It's my home, I miss it something fierce.
