I finally made it to OK. all is well. I should have net in the next day or so. workdays are long and crazy, but it is so much better here. i am loving this place. good group of guys. being a FA medic, and learning about paladins might be fun after all. once i get into shape a lil more, and after block leave, ill consider trying EOD. I just need to get settled in. what i am seeing is that this section has about 10 people, all with the same rank but 2. our CPL and SGT are good guys, and we have 2 that might get promoted soon. no privates!!! no females. just crazy guys who like to drink, smoke and/or get laid.
as for me, im gonna take myself off the market for a while. if things go well, maybe forever. i am cautiously optomistic. as more comes to pass, ill say and put more out there. i aint gonna set my self up for failure.
in the mean, i am learning i suck beyond sucking at managing money, and i am going to have to budget tighter than hell to get in the black. money can't fix everything. sometimes you have to pinch pennys, save, and save some more. "you cant eat Steak with Hotdog pay!" living beyond your means will kill you. i don't need any more loans. never will i get a credit card. i just got to pay my debts.
so basicly, all is tolerable at fort sill and my standard of living is awesome. i have alot on my plate in the next 3 months as got to recert or i lose my EMT-B and my CPR. way too much is going on at this post and with them wanting to already go back to the field and already relying on me..the new guy! Never mind our lack of SSG's and SGT's, i see a very busy and stress filled future. keep me in your prayers. i am gonna need it!

I definately understand where you're coming from about money... I have, in the past few months, decided to try budgeting everything. It's still difficult sometimes when I think "oh, I can buy this" and then later on pay the bill.
Needless to say, that wasn't working very well so I decided to pay my bills THEN if there was any left over I would spend. And, until my bit the other week, I have been doing really well with it. I can't own a credit card even if I wanted to.
BTW... Thank you for the lovely compliment... It made me blush.
