Why can't I have entertaining coversations with anyone I know?
I hate not being very social.
And our dean is being a jerk. He took it upon himself to close all of the party houses. Now if I wan't to go to a party I actually have to try and find one, instead of there being at least a dozen to choose some.

What constitutes an "entertaining conversation"?
Does the Dean of Students got you down? It sounds like a liability issue to me. Just create a private website to channel your parties, or an e-mail list.
Your school must be getting a lot of flack about drinking on or near campus. Have too many students died from alcohol poisoning there?
You can always hitch a ride to the party next door. That way, you don't have to drink and drive. Or, just spend the night with a friend over there and drive home the next day when your blood-alcohol content is legal. Or, you could just sleep in the back of your car.
Here at my college, we are close to Canada (Windsor), so busses come to pick up the under-age students to go drink in Canada, where the drinking age, I believe, is less than 21 (18 or 19). It is perfectly legal, I guess.
