The Mesa is sold. I didn't get as much as I could have for it, but it's going to a good home. That's worth it to me.
Saw "War of the Worlds" with the mom today. She wanted to take her babyboy out for a pre-move bonding session. She's so cool! The last movie we saw together was "Time Bandits" back in the 80's. It was a good time.
I got a message from the beautiful and recently spoken-for lawyer in New Mexico last night. Something came up at work and she will not be able to accompany me to LA. She was just assigned a murder trial that week (excuses!
) I will still get to see her for a day or two. Hopefully I'll get to meet her new guy and give him the "If you hurt her, I'll fucking kill you" speech. 
Hey, there's an extra seat in the car if anyone wants to do a roadtrip with a sexy, intelligent, half-crazed, and lonely musician type. (I didn't think so. I knew I should have left out "half-crazed and lonely". Dammit!)

Me: Besides splitting my skull open on the headboard (see previous journal entry...God I'm an idiot!), I'm a sucker for moans, screams, and cursing like a sailor. If she does it too, that's even better!

A sense of humour also helps. As mentioned in a previous journal entry I have a tendancy to fall off the end of the bed in all the excitement.
