I know that my last blog was about how depressing it is to be in certain parts of the music industry these days. There are some good things about it though...

Tonight I played on almost $750,000 worth of guitars.
The scarey part is, I played only 3 guitars!

Guitar #1: A 1959 Gibson Explorer


Guitar #2: A 1958 Gibson Les Paul


Guitar #3: A Custom Hamer Double Neck


If you know anything about late '70's rock bands (and if you can read the inlay on the necks),you should be able to guess who's recording with this week.

I also got to watch and hang out with one of the most respected engineers and producers in the business.
He has recorded the biggest albums in rock history, and he's a damn nice guy.

It's days like this I can actually appreciate my job.

As far as my home life goes...

My cat ate part of the plastic jewel case from "Great White's Greatest Hits" cd tonight


And my amazing and beautiful girlfriend is turning the big 3-0 on Wednesday


They grow up quickly, don't they?
