Last night I was a chapperone at a sweet sixteen party @ Capitol. It was for the VP's daughter.
I was dreading it at first, but it turned out to be a good night.
I received catered food and alcohol, met some really cool people, saw some people I wanted to see, and had a good time in general.
The best part of the night was hanging out with kids that play instruments and showing them the studios. They flipped out seeing all the equipment and were just so excited to be there. I hope it inspired some of them.
I have the day off...thank God! I need a massage (or do I just want the 'happy ending'?), a good meal, some clean clothes, and a good night's sleep.
I hope everyone is doing well and is happy.
