I got a phone call today.
My soon-to-be ex-wife called and left a voicemail message on my Maryland phone. She sounded angry and hurt. She was calling to tell me that she is filing for the divorce on Jan 18th and wanted to know my schedule so I can get served with the papers. It's the first time she's called me (on purpose) since May.
Fuck me! Her voice kills me. I will never become accustomed to hearing her like that. It makes me want to die. I know that our breaking up was the best thing for both of us, but it is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. She will never know or understand.
Goddamn this hurts.
