OMG I am fucked up!
Spent some time in the OC with my bass slappin' buddy, Shawndaddy. Couldn't get the ProTools software to work on his virus infested computer, so we hung out a little and called it an early night.
Got home, dropped off the Les Paul and assorted gear and headed out to my happy place...The Big Foot Lodge. I finished my allegro piece in D-minor and thanks to bartenders Jay and Chip, got my drink on. Jay hooked me up with two shots of rum (after my obligatory shot of Absolute). Doing shots, listening to conversations about the Karate Kid 2 and Reubenesque women, writing music, sitting on the curb to smoke, and drinking some more became the cycle of life for the night. I am completely fucking hammered...hence my perfect spelling of the word 'obligatory'...Damn I'm good!
Got home to hear my Dad's voice on the voicemail. I haven't talked to him in a couple months (usually I go years without talking to him). I guess I'll call him tomorrow. see what part of the country he's in and find out what he's up to.
I want to live alone. I'm tired of coming home to this weird intensity and drama that comes with living with a couple. It's like putting up with the worst parts of a relationship and not being in one. I guess that's why I've been on edge alot. I miss the peace, freedom and serenity of an empty home. I severly lack stability in my life right now... and it un-nerves me.
