I fucking give up.

I got an e-mail from the opera singer I went on a date with. She said that she's sorry she dropped off the face of the earth, but she was in a dark place when we went out. She wanted to know what I was up to and maybe catch up sometime. She then posted a blog on myspace about how she went to Spain with some guy and things didn't work out between them. Thanks, but Fuck Off!

Then I get an e-mail from a girl in Maryland that I was interested in and we sent a few e-mails to each other, then nothing. The last e-mail I sent to her was in June...I just received a reply. She said that she was sorry for being a little weird, but she thought the e-mails were from an ex, ex, ex-boyfriend (who is also named Dan) who was trying to restablish contact with her. She and I have been sending e-mails to each other, and now, it looks like she wants me to buy one of her cd's. I'm just waiting for the " do you know anyone in the industry might want to listen to this?" bullshit.

Look, I know I'm not the best looking, most intersting guy in the world; but I have a fucking heart and I care about people (usually way more than I should). I'm tired of having my kindness and my giving a shit being mistaken for weakness. I am not a "plan b" or a fucking music industry contact. I am also tired of women thinking I will save them from something (ie. all of my fucking past relationships).

If you don't like me for who I am (however fucked up that is), or want something from me, go fucking bother someone else. I'm fucking done.
