I fucking went through a time warp last night.

My friend, Greg, met me at one of the studios I worked at 5 years ago. We were hanging out with some of the guys in D12 watching the new Star Wars movie. It was a weird feeling, seeing people that I hadn't seen in such a long time. It's funny, nothing really changes.

We went to a billards club on Ventura in Sherman Oaks. Shot some pool, talked shop. Then, we decided to drive down to Capitol to see Steve Perry from Journey. We got there late and missed him, so we picked up my friend, John, and had a late night eat at Canter's.

I hadn't been studio hopping in a long time, and it was great to see the old studio again. Dr Dre has totally redone the place, and it looks amazing. Plasma tv's everywhere, stainless steel appliances, new shower and bedroom, marble and nice art...but I miss the way it used to be. Nothing changes, but nothing stays the same either.

I just wanted to write about this and name drop to piss off Shawndaddy. It will give him something to tease me about tonight when we hangout with sweetiepie extraordinaire, Luci. This week is starting to turn around. I'm starting to feel normal again.
