Ok. So fun facts. I live in Pembroke Massachusetts. I lived in Quincy Massachusetts until a week before my 18th Birthday. I'd rather talk about Quincy. But I live in Pembroke now. So here we go.
I'm a couple towns over from Plymouth. I gotta say that. Cuz no ones ever heard of Pembroke. You like Cranberry Juice? Well. You're in luck. Cuz we have the cranberry bogs here.
The ocean spray factory of olden times used to be in the next town over(In Hanson, MA.) The story goes. Someone fell in the vat. And that's why we can't have nice things.
Oddly enough in the same building was the practice studio all the bands used to practice in. That's all we had til it got haunted as shit, and the ceiling caved in. Now it's closed.
Down the street from that is an old Tuberculosis clinic that's boarded up. Also haunted as shit. We got ghosts.
Steven Tyler lives a couple towns over. Sometimes you can see him shambling around a petco. Or at the mall. I never have though.
Doug Smith, the author of the Book Goon, and the basis for the character in the movie, is a police officer in Hanson. He's a cool guy.
Pembroke is a nice place to drive through. Preferably at 10 mph over the normal speed limit. I'd say just keep driving unless you wanna pick me up. Then we can get pizza.
