Blah, feeling drained.
Been working all through the holidays, 12 hour shifts, midnight till noon. Tired and cranky, not nearly enough holiday spirit. My GF is visiting family in Ecuador, and won't be back for another 11 days, and has already been gone for over a week. This Christmas is my worst so far.
On a high note, after tomorrow, I have the next 4 days off. No plans for new years, so I invited some friends over, just going to have a nice relaxing time drinking, hanging out and playing various boardgames. Lately we've been playing Dominion a lot. Which, technically speaking, may not count as a boardgame, as all you need is the cards... Fun game all the same.
I log in most every day to check the new hopefuls/member review pics, and of course to see who got Front Page, yet, I tend not to blog enough. I need to get myself to be more open, hopefully work on getting more blogging going, and as well, hopefully something more fun to blog about than work.
2012 wasn't a bad year, same job all year, which is good. I don't like my job though, and am looking for a new job, but, a steady job looks better than sitting at home as far as a resume is concerned. Started a one sided relationship with a girl in February, let her lead me on till August before I finally figured out I was just her play-thing. Met my girlfriend in August, and that has been good, save for her slight bouts of jealousy at the mention of the last girl. I love my girlfriend, but she doesn't trust men much after one bad boyfriend, and the slightest hint of trouble gets her quite angry.
Money is tight, but when is it not. When I find my next job, hopefully it either pays more, or I enjoy it more, if not both. Since in my current job, I feel underpaid, and under appreciated, almost any job could potentially be better.
