Man, sometimes when you get into a funky mood it can be hard to shake it...sometimes even looking at nakkid girls doesn't help 
So cutting out of work early and getting some excercise was my attempt at medicine today. Worked a little. Excercise can often work wonders for my mood, but all my usual cheer up tricks are having little effect this week. I'm going to go skiing this weekend though, if I'm not in a happy mood after that I'll just give up, buy lots of sweat pants, stop showering, etc.
My house closing is next week...I suppose I should start packing. Moving sucks, I hope buying a house means I don't have to again for a while

yes, as your reverse parallel universe twin, i can totally understand about the emotional roller coaster...i am on 1 myself. i'm taking it like an alchoholic: 1 day @ a time...i keep thinking that if i completely hated him this would be easier, but i am sure that's not the case. hating him wouldn't get rid of the feeling of failure & knowing that i am the 1 that is walking away. hating myself for being a quiter...

ah yes, very satisfying when former co-workers/bosses realize how great you were. i worked for my last company for 5 years & in that time we were bought & sold 3 times. the last 2 were official mergers, so they were nightmares! it's always great when you have a high stress job that is made worse by constantly having to prove yourself to a new management team of east coast ivy league snobs.
in theater, the rivalry between chicago & nyc is legendary & after this last merger i understand why. to an old school new yorker, every other part of the country is inferior & insignifigant. so if you are from somewhere else, you will never be able to prove yourself. especially if you are on the west coast, since we spend all our time drinking wine in our hot tubs.
in my defense, i didn't really "forget" it just took me 2 days to remember this 14 year old 1 time incident...& i initially remembered him, but not the actual act. my memory lapse is not due to volume, since compared to most of my girlfirends & sister i am WAY behind in the #'s game, but more of signifigance & maybe a little trauma. now i am remembering everything about him & what a dick he was. no wonder i deleted him from my r.a.m.!
