OK, I know I said I loved the first big snow of the year, but this is ridiculous! 30+ inches and I spent the past 24 hours working in it! In between all of the 911 calls, we were shoveling the driveway and parking lot so we could get our ambulance in and out, digging/pulling out several of our BLS ambulances (vans) from snow banks, and even digging out a tow-truck and plow that got stuck trying to help free a fire truck that got stuck. Then when we got all of them free, including the fire engine, we got stuck too!!! Luckily all of the firefighters, the tow truck driver, the plow, and a police officer were still there to help us get out! It really was quite the comical sight to behold

Then I get home after 24 hours of this shit, only to spend the last 3 hours shoveling my walkways and digging out a parking spot for my truck. God I love my 4x4 in weather like this

I'm pooped! I'm going to sleep for a long time.
