Wow! Ive just managed to see Blue Velvet for the first time; I know! Its a disaster that it has taken me this long to finally see it, especially for such a David Lynch fan! It was increadibly intense from start to finish (your typical Lynch-food). I have compiled a minute list (two points only to entertain ppl with short attention spans) that make the film amazing;
1.)
Denis Hoppers character is one of the most entertaining Ive ever seen, plus anyone who hates heineken is ok in my book. (Next time someone offers me Heiny, Ill have to pull a quote FUCK HEINEKEN!
2.) The soundtrack is ace! As soon as I get home gunna download it.
I am currently celebrating a delayed Christmas with my mum and step dad. Some would say I come from a dysfunctional family, but I however think its cool. Who else would end up smoking weed with my folks, (in fact they gave me the weed it was some I gave to them as a present last time I saw them. They didnt smoke it though, so they gave it too me..) while comparing porn with my stepdad. Strange indeed. Actually the porn was my present to the steppie he absolutely adores :oink

Apparently David Hasstlehof was interviewed on some show.. and when questioned about BW he came out with some weird bull shit. In a lot of ways I feel great accomplishment when thinking about BW. It was quite symbolic really talling the tale of American Life guards in a lot of ways america is the lifeguard of earth
