I'm actually coming out saturday! I'm flying in, getting dinner, and heading right to RFTC. woo!
Canton's way up there, holy moly.
I spoke with my brother tonight about the weather. Admittedly, I'm a little bummed, I was hoping to get some good backcountry riding, but I'll just have to settle for everything else that is good. haah. I really doubt I'll be bored.
A friend of mine also says that the japanese version is better, as well. I tell you, it'll probably have to be with the light on if it's freakier than the US one. Honestly, I hadn't had the spookies like that in a while . . .
I do know that a small crew will be going to the snakepit on wednesday (one of our yearly rituals) and a fashion show on friday. RFTC on Saturday and Flogging Molly next. My friend Vin lives pretty much across the street form the showplace on Colfax.

I'm out here right now, I wasn't sure from your post if you were leaving fri 22, or fri 14. Anyway, I'm currently stranded at my bros house in NW Denver (29th + ??) with no car and snow! If it turns out you haven't left yet, I think we're still tryin' for the snakepit on wed., if the snow doesn't accumulate anymore.

I like for a girl to just be natural. I don't think she needs to paint her fingernails, toenails, or put on make-up to feel beautiful. I have a foot fetish, so I spend most of my day looking at women's feet, since it's spring and all.

I totally empathize with you on both of these things! I used to work as a florist, now I work as a researcher for a software company. It's rather imbalanced, I alway feel like I lack one or the other. And I'm just starting to come out of my shell as well, and I'm always finding myself (especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings) going over and over again what I'd said the night before, wishing I could take it back. It's a difficult line to tread between invisibility and feeling like I'm making an ass of myself.

Wow that book sounds profound, I will have to read that.... once school is over in another 6 weeks though. You may find The McDonaldization of society an interesting read too, it is by George Ritzer, I read it for sociology a couple years ago. I do find the thought of genetically modified food horrifying too... especially because they fail to label such products, so that unsuspecting consumers can be slowly poisoned.
