went to the Furry Scurry on sat. - huge dog and owner event w/a 2 mi race/walk and tons of food and vendors, etc. i was there representing the hospital and our blood bank. it was great - so many people and dogs! beautiful weather, let the dog go swimming, got lots of people interested in having their dogs be donors, and talked to a lot of people who had been to our hospital and had great things to say a/b how we'd helped their pets. that's always great to hear. i even ran into a woman i remember from the clinic i used to work at in boulder and she remembered me - unfortunately from a very hard time as she was loosing her dog to liver disease. but she had a new puppy w/ her and looked really happy. a good time was had by all. and i saw a bunch of old english sheep dogs - when we're out w/ ours we never see another one, but we met 6 or 7 on sat - they're such great, goofy dogs; i'm so glad every day we adopted ours. except when he pees in his room.
so, i'm off to get my oil changed - 3,000 miles late. oh well.
i think tomorrow i'm going to go see XMen II - i've heard good things a/b it. i'm excited - i haven't had a good movie experience in a while.
