i can't sleep, for almost 2 weeks now. it is getting old and i am really tired. every morning when i drag my ass out of bed i think that at night i should take something to put me to sleep, something harmless like nyquil or tylenol pm. but every night i'm so fucking tired that i'm convinced i'll sleep like a stone, so i don't take anything, and then by the time i've laid there for a few hours it's too late for me to take anything and still get up for work the next day.
i don't know what it is. i always have insomnia before my period, but it came and i still can't sleep. my next best guess is it has something to do w/ spring, w/ the sun risig earlier and setting later and mucking w/ my circadian rhythms. but i certainly don't want to curse spring - i'm lovin all the springiness. . . i just want some rest!
saw the american Ring 2 nights ago at the cheapies. not bad, but what was w/ the horses? why the need to add the senseless animal cruelty? i guess since i'd seen the original and knew all the scary bits had something to do w/ it, but i was most horrified when the horse jupmped off the ferry and caught his legs and hit the side of the boat and then was flailing around in the water next to the boat, that panicked look in his eyes. it was awful!

I spoke with my brother tonight about the weather. Admittedly, I'm a little bummed, I was hoping to get some good backcountry riding, but I'll just have to settle for everything else that is good. haah. I really doubt I'll be bored.
A friend of mine also says that the japanese version is better, as well. I tell you, it'll probably have to be with the light on if it's freakier than the US one. Honestly, I hadn't had the spookies like that in a while . . .
I do know that a small crew will be going to the snakepit on wednesday (one of our yearly rituals) and a fashion show on friday. RFTC on Saturday and Flogging Molly next. My friend Vin lives pretty much across the street form the showplace on Colfax.

I'm out here right now, I wasn't sure from your post if you were leaving fri 22, or fri 14. Anyway, I'm currently stranded at my bros house in NW Denver (29th + ??) with no car and snow! If it turns out you haven't left yet, I think we're still tryin' for the snakepit on wed., if the snow doesn't accumulate anymore.
I'm seriously doubting my grammatical correctness right about now . . .
