my dog was growling and barking out the window.
he know's he's not allowed to do that, so he does it very under his breath.
but i can still hear him an d i scold him and he ignores me.
so i just stomped my foot to get his attention, but i hit the sole of my foot on the edge of my husband's desk - there's a stupid shelf a/b 2 inches off the ground - DAMN! that hurt!
now i'm mad at the dog - b/c when he heard the commotion he stopped barking out the window and came and laid down by me - so obviously whatever was out the window wasn't that big a deal - so why couldn't he just come when i called?

anyway - not what i planned to talk a/b.
took the dog for a wonderful hike yesterday.
the 4th of july trail.
starts in forest, goes past waterfalls, climbs into alpine meadows, then above treeline, past glaciers and overlooking lakes.
it was so hot - the breeze coming off the glaciers was warm. down below, in town it was sweltering.
oh well, i guess that's summer for you.

tomorrow i'm going to see Pirates of the Carribean.

i have to go wash the dishes.
