sorry about the dog! hope the rest of the week goes a little more easier for you, i used to really want to be a vet myself but i think if i had become one i wouldn't be able to handle it so well when the animals didn't make it. when i was a kid even hearing about a dog or cat dying would send me into tears!

you know i actually quite liked the last buffy, although i always try to make sure now whenever i watch the last episode of shows i really like not to have very high expectations-last episodes so rarely live up to the entire series. i guess i was kind of a sucker for the whole "awakening the slayers" thing, but hey at least i didn't weep at the end like jae did! i hope the cast members move onto doing other cool things that i'd want to see, especially willow and maybe xander,too...
did you have fun birthday shopping? you're hubby sounds like fun to shop for, robots are awesome dude!!! i love birthday shopping when i feel like i know what the person would like or appreciate, but you know those people who seem to have everything or they don't seem to like anything at all? grrrrr.....
